During my recent weekend getaway to Hampton Inn Summersville, I found the hotel to be a refreshing oasis after a long drive. Our late-night arrival was seamlessly managed by the incredibly kind front desk staff, who anticipated our needs and made checking in a breeze. The modern room was not only clean but also comfortably chic, with a flat-screen TV and coffee facilities—just what you need to unwind after a day out. While I appreciate a good hot continental breakfast, I have to admit it fell a bit short. The overripe bananas didn’t set the right tone, and the omelets were more like abstract art—confetti, really! I must highlight the seasonal outdoor pool, which offered a lovely spot for relaxation after a day spent fishing on the nearby Summersville Lake. All in all, if you’re looking for a clean and comfortable stay, with easy access to the beautiful natural landscapes of West Virginia, this hotel is a solid choice. Just pack your own breakfast fixings!
